Bath, situated in South West England, is a Georgian spa city and, after London, England's most popular destination for tourists. The Roman Bath House is the site of Britain's only hot spring, which is approximately 2000 years old. Other places of interest in Bath include the Royal Crescent - a beautiful example of Georgian architecture and the 14th century abbey. Bath and its surrounding countryside are also ideal for country walks and cycle rides.
The Residential Training concept
- Business English Course participants live at Cheney Court. This gives the opportunity to concentrate fully on the main aim of learning Business English, both in and out of the classroom.
- Cheney Court encourages interaction with business and professional people from many other companies and countries, offering a unique insight into a variety of cultures and business practices.
- Communication activities such as meetings, negotiations, discussions and presentations are offered, to complement the programme of individual tuition. These enable participants to develop their skills through realistic business simulations.
- Self-access centre - participants are able to use the latest technology designed to support their business language learning via CD Rom and Internet, encouraging learner independence.
